Our client is one of the largest producers of dried herbs in Europe, based in Norfolk, UK. Using state-of-the-art technology, they are able to to harvest and process locally grown produce at incredible speed without compromising on the quality of their product, achieving a Grade AA from the British Retail Consortium (BRC).
The system was expertly designed with our clients unique requirements in mind; our BlueClean® FP ULTRA filter unit was designed with a bespoke filtration area of 180 m2 using an anti-static oleophobic filter media to ensure maximum filtration efficiency.
A discharge air silencer was fitted to significantly reducing both noise pollution in the local environment, in addition to a secondary HEPA filter ensuring any airborne particulates were not recirculated in the exhaust air.
The compact design of machinery on the processing side of the facility necessitated bringing the filter units up to the third floor; the client and our Team worked exceptionally well together to overcome these logistical hurdles when installing the LEV system.
Our client was very pleased with the outcome; their Production Manager praised the effectiveness of the bespoke solution in assisting their process.
